Flyerzone.co.uk, an eco-friendly online printing company, has launched a competition for small businesses and start-ups to win £1000 toward their promotional printing. The competition is open until 29 February and has five £1,000 prizes available for those who enter.

The Manchester-based company has received recognition from environmentalists across the UK. They encourage businesses to utilise Flyerzone for their printing and its pledge is to only use paper from well-managed forests that are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.

Gavin Cockerill, Managing Director from Flyerzone said, ‘During difficult economic conditions and a time of high unemployment, growing numbers of people are looking to launch start-ups, which means the competition is tough. Promoting their businesses is a necessity but marketing budgets can be tight, especially when starting out. We want to reward entrepreneurs for their innovation and tenacity, by giving them a flying start and funding their marketing efforts.'

The competition requires entrants to provide detail of their business goals for 2012 and how winning £1,000 of marketing would help them achieve these. Gavin Cockerill said, "We appreciate small businesses and start-ups are busy focusing on their business, so we’ve made the competition simple to enter. We hope to get some really interesting entries and look forward to working with the winners to help them promote and grow their businesses."
