Frost a Gelato Shoppe announces a groundbreaking Valentines Day Promotion. In an attempt to set a Guinness World Record, and in conjunction with Valentines Day, Frost will serve what they believe to be the most expensive sorbet ever sold to the public.

According to Frost owner Doug Woelfle, “We will be making a sorbet created from strawberries and the very expensive Cristal Champagne. We want to offer couples a special way to show their valentines that they care.” Woelfle adds, “A four ounce serving of our special sorbet will cost $25, and will come with two strawberries dipped in rich, Italian chocolate.”

The Cristal Champagne Strawberry sorbet will become available each Friday and Saturday evening starting at 7:00 pm throughout the month of February. There will only be one batch made each promotion day so when it is depleted, it is gone.

As a bonus, sorbet is a very healthy option, as far as deserts go. It is made with little to no fat, and is flavored with fresh fruits and natural ingredients.

The family owned Frost opened up in July of 2011, and has received rave reviews by customers ever since. This is evidenced by the fact that they have sold over 15,000 servings per month of their gelato and sorbet treats since opening. Upon entering the shop, it quickly becomes obvious that the staff is specially trained to make customers feel welcome, as well as important. The service is high quality, and offered with a smile. Patrons are encouraged to sample the variety of flavors so they learn not only what to get during their current visit, but also what they may look forward to for the next time.

Frost boasts over seventy varieties of their hand made gelatos and sorbets. Currently, the crowd favorites seem to be the Sea Salt Caramel, the Dark Chocolate, and the Roasted Almond; although, one would be pressed to attempt to find a flavor they didn’t like. All of the ingredients (save the milk) that Woelfle uses to make the Frost creations are shipped in from Italy in order to preserve the authenticity of the Italian goodness.

For those wishing to try these Frost creations, they can visit the shop in the Santan Village, located in Gilbert at 2150 East Williams Field Road Ste 120. They can also be visited on the web at frostgelato.com.
