HangAStar, Inc. (HangAStar) is pleased to announce the development of the Junior Club Ranking System that places players on earned points and age. The system, created for USA Volleyball (USAV), provides rankings based on age classifications of 12 years through 18 years. It is currently being implemented in the girls’ 2012 program, with plans to include its use in the 2013 boys’ programs.

The Junior Club Ranking System is available on the USAV website at usavolleyball.org. The information is gathered from events and linked to an 11-digit code assigned to each team.

The first rankings of 2012 will be created from key events in 2011 and tournament points earned from January 14, 2012 through January 16, 2012. USAV sanctioned event points from multiple day competitions will add to team points. Qualifying tournaments must also have a minimum of eight teams per division and have a minimum of three USAV Regions represented. Teams that do not play in their age classification will not be included.
