Hubbard Media Gives UK Domain Name Business Industry Boost

Share Article

A dedicated forum for UK (.uk) domain names catering for true domain professionals has been launched by Hubbard Media. Members are able to buy, discuss, sell and auction .uk domains and participate in meaningful debate - a fresh change from current run-of-the-mill venues.

Following the success of their Domain Check Engine (DCE) site, Hubbard Media have launched their own UK domaining forum: UK Domain Forum (UKDF).

On the first day of launch, the site attracted sign-ups from a significant number of the UK's most respected professionals; many with 6-figure portfolios.

Success is all about adaptation and change. Forums in general are extremely difficult to build without quality content and an educated membership. UKDF caters for both newcomers to the domaining industry, and to veterans. The tenet is that 'newbies' can learn and become valuable contributors, if help is offered by peers and moderators.

Too often, forum moderation is either incisive or non-existent, and owners become complacent after enjoying years of a lacklustre monopoly. UKDF is taking a new approach.

Live auctions are soon to be implemented, and the site is already running a membership drive by which a brand new Apple iPad 3 may be won through the site's membership referral system.
