LogFire, a global software and supply chain execution company, announced today the appointment of supply chain veteran Alain Poirier to the post of Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales. In this new position, Poirier will be responsible for LogFire’s global sales and account management organization.
Poirier brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in supply chain technology to LogFire. Most recently he served as vice president of sales at Aldata Solution (acquired by Symphony Technology Group). Poirier has also served in senior-level software sales executive and management roles at Sterling Commerce (acquired by IBM), TrueDemand (acquired by Acosta) and Manhattan Associates. Poirier obtained an M.B.A. from Indiana University and a B.S. in engineering from the University of Waterloo.
