Sharon Wainwright writes about her devotion to God and shows the shining faith derived from constant prayers. With Words From My Heart, she gives readers the personal prayers she made that helped her through many problems. The poems in this collection evokes many things, chief among which are natural wonders and the blessedness of the American countryside – an ever-changing but constant beauty that is all the more valuable for its being the cradle of love, of its people’s genius, and pride. Much is sacrificed and suffered in the name of country and a personal philosophy that numbers patriotism as a basic tenet.
Ms. Wainwright has spent years in military service as had her husband Donald. Being a soldier, she writes with the same fervor and patriotism that distinguishes the American fighting heart. The life she has experienced only served to strengthen her belief in the goodness of the Lord and how He helps those who have faith in Him. This book is the product of a well-spring of belief – strong enough to conquer the world, deep enough to have sustained her all her life.
It is the author’s hope that readers may find joy in this volume as it has been a journey of fulfillment for her to capture her feelings for loved ones (including pets), moments of grace shared by the same loved ones, and the everlasting pride for having served flag and country. Much has passed in Sharon Wainwright’s life. She celebrates life in spite of pain, and believes deeply in the virtues of that life which she shares for all who might read this book.

About the Author
Sharon Wainwright was born in December, 1946, in Moultrie, Ga., but was raised in South Florida, to parents of German (mother), Irish and American Indian (father), descent. Fifth of six children, she left home at age 16, to “Conquer the World”. She’s held many job positions, from waitress to business office supervisor, but retired from the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office, Starke, Fla., in 2003. She met her husband, Donald, in 1978 when he was her Platoon Sgt. in the Army National Guard, however, they did not marry until almost 24 years later, (she wasn’t through “Conquering the World“!). They have six children between them, but none together, and fourteen grandchildren, all of whom they adore. Writing, whether it be poetry, song lyrics or short stories, has always been her passion. Her talent lay dormant for nearly 30 years and has only resurfaced in the past two years. She’s always been an avid reader until her eyesight started deteriorating. She and her husband live in a small, modest home at Kingsley Lake, just outside of Starke, Florida. They enjoy, camping, fishing, yard work, family and numerous friends.
