The booming Australian resource sector is seeking funding from the US. Learn more about the Australian resource sector and meet the decision makers at free roadshows in San Francisco and Denver.

We are bringing some of Australia's mining and energy companies to the US to give potential funders a chance t omeet the decision makers, ask some questions and learn more about Australia's booming resource sector.

Australian investment events company, Symposium, is giving Americans the chance to learn more about the thriving Australian resource sector by holding a series of free roadshows.

The Australian resource sector currently makes up around 40 per cent of Australia’s total exports. Thanks to abundant mineral resources and cutting-edge technology, Australia has long held a reputation as a reliable and competitive supplier of high-quality mineral and energy products.

According to the Australian Trade Commission, Australia has the world’s largest reserves of lead, nickel, uranium and zinc. It is the world’s largest producer of bauxite and alumina, the second largest producer of zinc ore and nickel, and the third largest producer of iron ore and gold. However, continued growth in Australia’s resource sector depends critically on investment in exploration.

Symposium Managing Director, Kerry Stevenson, believes this is a good opportunity for Americans considering off-shore funding.

“Australia recognises the contribution direct investment from the USA has made in developing its industries and resources,” she says. “But with high metal prices and a strong demand, we also recognise the need for future investment – particularly from the US.

“So we are bringing some of Australia’s mining and energy companies to the US to give potential funders a chance to meet the decision makers, ask some questions and learn more about Australia’s booming resource sector.”

Resources Roadshow USA will land in San Francisco on 27th February and Denver on 29th February.
