New York Festivals® International Advertising Awards, now in its 55th year, announced six additional appointments to the 2012 Executive Jury. This elite group of worldwide chief creative officers and executive creative directors were chosen to select the World’s Best Advertising™ across all mediums from the shortlist selected by the Grand Jury. The Executive Jury convenes in New York April 28th through May 1st. The award-winning entries will be announced at the New York Show on May 3rd at the New York Public Library Stephen A. Schwarzman Building.

The 2012 NYF Executive Jury is comprised of 30 international advertising agency chief creative officers and executive creative directors. Unlike other advertising competition juries, the NYF Executive Jury does not have a Chairman or President presiding, thereby allowing all members of the jury to be of equal status. In 2011, Donald Gunn, founder of The Gunn Report, moderated the first live NYF Executive Jury. Mr. Gunn will reprise his role as moderator, guiding the 2012 jury on its path to select the World’s Best Advertising™.
The New York Show, a 2-day festival begins on May 2nd, and will feature creative panel discussions, keynote speakers, networking events, the 2012 Executive Jury Press Conference, exhibits, and will culminate with the annual International Advertising Awards ceremony taking place on May 3rd. All New York Show events and the 2012 awards gala will take place at the landmark New York Public Library Stephen A. Schwarzman Building located at Fifth Avenue and Forty-Second Street.
