“[I hope readers] who are not certain of their relationship with God [will be] confronted with the Gospel of Jesus Christ [and] those who have assurance in their relationship with God [will be] challenged in their faith."

Mars and other life forms have been a popular topic of discussion for many years, not only in the scientific world, but also around families’ dinner tables. Could aliens be real? John R. Prothro’s new book, Voices, Voices, Voices ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-61904-724-2; $25.99, hardcover, 978-1-61904-725-9; $7.99, eBook, 978-1-61904-726-6), is a story based on a young astronomer who is desperately seeking to end the long awaited contact with aliens and takes it upon himself to fashion a message from space. With the help of a computer whiz sidekick and some unexpected help from demonic forces, the message goes public. Prothro’s book is not just about aliens, however; he also instills a message in his prose that will challenge readers and urge them to seek out the voice of God above all else.
“[I hope readers] who are not certain of their relationship with God [will be] confronted with the Gospel of Jesus Christ [and] those who have assurance in their relationship with God [will be] challenged in their faith [and are able] to face the deception of Satan,” states the author.
John R. Prothro graduated from college with a degree in engineering; he worked as a Junior Engineer for a couple of years, but ultimately decided that he had been called to work in ministry. He changed direction and entered the seminary to train for the ministry and since then has ministered in both large and small churches. At the age of seventy-six he retired and found the time to complete books he had started ten years prior.
