Meet Team Summit drag racers plus BIGFOOT monster truck driver Dan Runte at the 2012 Detroit Autorama

Team Summit race drivers Jason Line, Dan Runte, Tim Wilkerson, and Dan Wilkerson will be at the Summit Racing Equipment display at the 60th Annual Meguiars Detroit Autorama, February 24-26 at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan.
Jason Line, 2011 NHRA Pro Stock champion and driver of the Summit Racing/KB Racing Pontiac GXP has two national championships to his credit (2006 and 2011) and holds the NHRA Pro Stock elapsed time record at 6.477 seconds, set at the 2011 Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals.
Dan Runte pilots the Summit Racing/BIGFOOT Ford #18 monster truck. He has set many records in his 20-year career, including the longest jump in a monster truck—202 feet over a 727 jetliner—made in 1999.
Veteran NHRA Funny Car driver Tim Wilkerson was the seventh Funny Car driver to break the four-second elapsed time barrier in quarter-mile competition. His son Dan Wilkerson also competes in NHRA Funny Car in 2011 with backing from Summit Racing Equipment.
Line, Runte, and Tim Wilkerson are signing autographs and talking with fans all weekend at the Summit Racing display. Dan Wilkerson will be at the show Saturday and Sunday only.
The Summit Racing Equipment Show Car Series is also a big part of the Detroit Autorama. It showcases custom cars, trucks, motorcycles, hot rods, race vehicles, antique cars, and other vehicles at Championship Auto Shows-promoted events. The Show Car Series includes an International Show Car Association (ISCA)-sanctioned competition in seven categories, including Truck/Van, Competition, Rod, Custom, Bike, Antique/Restored, and Street Machine.
