Some of the key new features within the product are:
The Process Builder – This is an extension to SymVolli’s Qualification Profile that is used to qualify a sales opportunity. The Process Builder will enable organisations to map out their processes so that they can be used, not only to gather information about the sale, but also qualify the probability of success at any one time in achieving the sale. Furthermore, the Process Builder can now be used to implement an organisation’s marketing and customer service processes.
Product Configuration - Leveraging on SymVolli’s capability to hold multiple price lists of products and services, the ability to add characteristics to products and services has been added so that information can be automatically used within a quotation or proposal, e.g. specifying for each CCTV camera its location, height, and viewing range, etc. You can now associate component products and services to key products so that they are not missed when creating a quote, e.g. installation is included with a server so when the server is used in a quotation the installation service is also included. Together, at the press of a button, a quotation or proposal can be easily generated, from the information entered into the system without the need for editing prior to sending to the client.
The Time Sheet functionality – This works with items that are quoted so that you can review the use of your resources. Furthermore, it can be used to measure the profitability of a project in terms of forecasted time versus actual time spent.
