Dave Schuman, the founder of Schuman’s National Underclassmen Combines and Barry Every released the top 40 of Florida today. National Underclassmen Combines is the largest high school football combine and college-recruiting showcase in the United States. The athletes are ranked based on skills displayed throughout the combine event. Last week the Sunshine State player rankings were released. Florida currently has 11 players in the NUC Ultimate 100 and 19 were in the Top 60 of the Southeast. Below are the Florida rankings for this week’s past combines showcase.
In the number one ranking position is Derrick Henry, a running back from Yule, Florida who carried the ball over 309 times for 2,567 yards and had an amazing 34 touchdowns. In second came Ahmad Fulwood a wide receiver from Bishop Kenny, Florida. Fulwood caught 46 passes for 1,141 yards and 17 touchdowns. Named First Team All-State Offense 6a was Laremy Tunsil an offensive lineman from Columbia, Florida.
