Sign up and get ready to jump, crawl, swing, and slide for the first ever ReALLIEty Challenge, presented by Nissan of Lake Charles, adventure race on March 31. It is 3.5 miles of intense military-style obstacles and will take place on the corner of Manchester Rd and Highway 397 in Lake Charles.
The Challenge will kick-off with a packet pick up party on March 30 at Touloulou’s at L’Auberge Casino Resort from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Entertainment will be provided, and the first 400 race participants to arrive will receive a free meal voucher and beverage from L’Auberge Casino Resort.
All military personnel, law enforcement, public servants and corporations are encouraged to form teams of 25 or more. Each 25 person team will receive a discount from $65 to $50. Teams can have up to 50 participants per race wave.
Each warrior who finishes the challenge will receive a goody bag with a t-shirt, coupons, and an authentic alligator tooth necklace. Everyone is invited to cheer on their warriors and enjoy a live DJ provided by Deep South Productions. Izzo’s Illegal Burrito and Southwest Beverage Company will also be on site selling drinks, beer, and food.
The ReALLIEty Challenge, spearheaded by Allie Ieyoub of Project Fit and Joey Odom of Sports Productions, is teaming up with The Mission Continues, a not-for-profit dedicated to honoring and empowering our U.S. veterans by finding them employment once they return to civilian life. The goal of The Mission Continues is to give our veterans a renewed sense of purpose and to allow them to continue serving their country within their own communities.
The ReALLIEty Challenge is sponsored by Nissan of Lake Charles and co-sponsored by Memorial Hospital and L’Auberge Casino Resort.
