We’re seeing a new need for complex services requiring professionals with years of experience in domestic agencies.

Patra Corporation, the only insurance outsource service provider with onshore and offshore agency support services, is pleased to announce an expansion in both domestic and overseas operations. New processing centers in Bangalore and Vizag, India, along with significant investment in the Novato, CA corporate headquarters, expand the resources of Patra’s customer servicing model, strengthening agency support services and increasing processing capacity.

The demand for high-volume, highly standardized processing services is growing,” says Patra Co-CEO John Simpson. “We’re also seeing a new need for complex services requiring professionals with years of experience in domestic agencies. By addressing both, we’re positioning Patra for the future.”

In late 2011, Patra opened a new processing center in Bangalore, India’s second largest city. This expansion adds processing redundancy and security while allowing Patra to take advantage of a diverse and educated talent pool. Patra is doubling its processing capacity in its Vizag, India centers through 2012 through aggressive staffing and the addition of a new facility.

By investing in its onshore agency servicing model, Patra continues to deliver on its reputation as an insurance industry innovator. Patra’s California headquarters will continue to serve as base for account management and customer service functions and has doubled its staff to support the company’s growth. These team members average more than 23 years of broker and carrier experience. In addition to new staff, Patra has more than tripled the Novato office’s physical space. Patra’s operations management will be shared between the Novato headquarters and a virtual office in Las Vegas.
