Assisted Living Today (http://assistedlivingtoday.com/) a provider of free senior living and elder care information, today announced the list of nominees for the 2012 ALTY Blog Awards. The full list can be found here: http://assistedlivingtoday.com/alty-awards/
The ALTY Awards is an annual blog awards event that honors the best articles and blog posts from the senior living/senior care industry from the previous calendar year. All nominees are chosen by a committee of industry experts, who have nominated the best written, most informative and most helpful content. Voting is open to the public and winning articles will be determined by the most votes.
This year, more than forty blogs posts from various authors have been nominated in categories that range from aging in place articles, to Alzheimer's disease, to the best technology blog posts for seniors.
“This is the first event of its kind in the elder care industry,” says Ken Lyons, Co-founder of Assisted Living Today. “People in our industry produce some fantastic content that often goes unnoticed. Our goal with the ALTY Awards is to shine a big, bright spotlight on the best bloggers and thought leaders in senior care industry and applaud their efforts."
