Museum of the City of New York Announces New Hours:
Museum to Open Saturday Evenings; until 8:30 p.m.
Due to the tremendous popularity of its exhibition The Greatest Grid: the Master Plan of Manhattan, 1811-2011, the Museum of the City of New York announces new hours when the museum will be open to the public.
Beginning Saturday, January 28, 2012 (and concluding April 7, 2012), the museum will be open Saturday evenings until 8:30 pm.
Light refreshments and wine from Great Performances will be available for purchase in the museum’s elegant rotunda between 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm.
The following exhibitions will be on view:
The Greatest Grid: The Master Plan of Manhattan, 1811-2011 through July 15
Cecil Beaton: The New York Years through April 22
Police Work: Photographs by Leonard Freed, 1972 – 1979 through May 6
Timescapes: a multimedia portrait tracing the growth of New York City. Ongoing
New Hours at the Museum of the City of New York:
Open Daily, 7 Days a Week
Sunday through Friday, 10 am—6 pm
Saturdays through April 7, 10 am – 8:30 pm
