Join Chef Morgan at Caffe Luxxe located at 925 Montana Avenue Santa Monica, CA 90402 on February 28th 6-8 p.m. This special demonstration will focus on how to make bugnes Lyonnaises (beignets). Chef Morgan will also be discussing her new book: Simple Pleasures - Fifty-two Weeks of Turning Ordinary Ingredients into Extraordinary Moments. It's a book about turning simple ingredients into extraordinary dishes, 52 weeks out of the year as the seasons change.

Chef Morgan is a private chef, who teaches cooking classes in Los Angeles as well as France. She also writes a blog “simple pleasures” from a chef’s perspective. The content is driven and inspired by her students. Subjects range from particular ingredients, a technique, a dessert, a simple meal, a more challenging meal, a party idea, a travel tip, or something inspired from her travels.

About Chef Lisa Baker Morgan
Chef Morgan, a graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Los Angeles, is a private chef. Once a former civil trail attorney in a large Los Angeles Law Firm, today chef Morgan provides cooking classes in Los Angeles as well as France. In late 2010, chef Morgan began the successful blog simples pleasures, which was inspired by her students.
