The Hacker Academy, an information security training firm that focuses on cutting edge information security, announced today that they will participate in Vancouver, BC’s 2012 CanSecWest Security Masters Dojo as an industry expert in Penetration Testing Reporting and Analysis. While most information security courses focus largely on the technical side of penetration testing, this is one of the few that places its focus entirely on analyzing and presenting the findings of those tests to an audience.

“The Hacker Academy has an excellent team of renowned training experts”, said Dragos Ruiu, founder of CanSecWest. “We are excited to have them as part of our lineup and know attendees will benefit significantly from their knowledge and experience.”

The pre-conference dojos address the need of professionals who already have significant work experience, and want to further improve their skills with intermediate and advanced educational requirements that go beyond the introductory materials typically found in many of the existing training sessions.

"The Analysis and Reporting class is particularly unique in that it allows the highly technical user to finally learn how to communicate those findings in a way that ensures that their message gets heard “emphasizes lead instructor and managing partner of The Hacker Academy, Mike Murray. “When it comes to penetration testing, the difference between achieving good results and great results is the tester’s ability to make penetration test reports useful for their clients and/or management.
