Agreement enables IMT to complement its healthcare Master Data Management solution offerings with cross-enterprise document sharing (XDS) components for Health Information Exchange (HIE) & Electronic Health Records (EHR) solutions.

InfoMagnetics Technologies Corporation (IMT), a leading provider of Master Data Management (MDM) healthcare solutions, announces today that it has signed a Value Added Reseller (VAR) agreement with Forcare, a leading provider of interoperability solutions. The agreement enables IMT to offer Forcare's solutions for HIE and EHRs, which will enable customers to share clinical data and support key clinical processes amongst healthcare institutions. Specifically, the agreement enables IMT to sell, implement, and provide ongoing support of the Forcare cross-enterprise document sharing (XDS) components to clients in North America. IMT provides innovative solutions that are tightly integrated into its current master data management solutions using the IBM MDM software - Initiate MDS.

Unlocking the benefits of Health Information Exchanges

The combination of XDS and Initiate MDS provides a truly innovative solution that finally moves Health Information Exchanges beyond the traditional first generation web portal based, view-only solutions. A tightly integrated XDS/MDM infrastructure provides the open, standards-based solution that allows for true interoperability and meaningful health information sharing between clinical systems using a vendor neutral architecture. The solution is built using the IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) integration profiles, thus providing a industry-standard growth platform for workflow-oriented clinical applications, leveraging existing information systems across the enterprise.

Leading innovation in healthcare trends

"IMT is recognized throughout North America for innovative solutions to health information sharing that span enterprises with diverse data governance structures,” states Brian Eckhardt, CEO of IMT. John Wieler, Vice President of Business Development adds: “We are always looking for new ways to help our clients realize the benefits of meaningful sharing of health information and this agreement strengthens that commitment. Forcares XDS software is exactly what we need to offer next generation HIE solutions to our clients.”

Harm-Jan Wessels, CEO Forcare comments: "We are very pleased with this new partnership with IMT. It strengthens our market reach by enabling IMT to offer Forcare based solutions in North America." Andries Hamster, Chief Marketing Officer Forcare adds: "IMT has a solid reputation for providing quality HIE solutions throughout North America. Combining their current MDM solutions with our IHE XDS-based interoperability suite, IMT will bring new value to its customers, by providing a standards-based solution for clinical data sharing." The agreement enables IMT to non-exclusively resell, implement and support software products from Forcare in North America.
