Duxbury House Alzheimer’s Care Center is among the nation’s best nursing centers for the third year running, according to U.S. News & World Report. The Welch Healthcare & Retirement Group dedicated memory care program is on the national magazine’s 2012 Honor Roll List. Duxbury House earned a top spot on the list, becoming just one of 39 nursing homes out of the over 15,000 reviewed by U.S. News to receive the accolade. U.S. News & World Report determines which facilities gain a spot on the Honor Roll based on performance evaluations in the areas of health inspections, nurse staffing and quality care. The 39 centers earning Honor Roll status received perfect five-star ratings from the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for four consecutive quarters.
“We are extremely proud of the care and support we provide residents and their families,” says Michael Cosgrove, administrator of Duxbury House Alzheimer’s Care Center of the 2012 U.S. News & World Report recognition. “Being named to the 2012 Honor Roll is a reflection of the commitment and dedication of our staff,” adds Cosgrove.
