Santa Fe, NM (PRWEB) February 15, 2012
The Santa Fe Community Foundation presents, Guess who’s coming to dinner? With the warmth of an intimate dinner party and the spirit of world-class cuisine, guests will enjoy personally prepared meals by world-class chefs served in the homes, gardens and art studios of some of Santa Fe’s most gracious and notable community members. Guests are not informed of the fabulous locations they are going to until just days before the event, and even then they still don't know who the other dinner guests will be. After dinner, guests and hosts arrive at a dessert competition at the Folk Art Museum.
Old friends meet up with each other and they are absolutely exuberant about their new friends. The first phrases out of mouths are "You'll never believe who I had dinner with tonight,” or "The meal was out of this world!” It is truly a magical evening,” Kelly Egolf, Co-Chair of the Guess who’s coming to dinner? committee says.
Guess who’s coming to dinner? debuted in 2011 to rave reviews from its hosts, chefs and guests. There is simply no other benefit in Santa Fe that can compare, and although the event is only in its second year, another sold-out crowd is expected. Participating chefs at this year’s event include, Andrea Clover, Executive Pastry Chef at Luminaria Restaurant & Patio, Maria Bustamente-Bernal Owner and Pastry Chef at the Tree House Pastry Shop and Café and more.
Guess who’s coming to dinner? will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012. Dinner is served at 5:30 p.m. at one of 20 private locations throughout Santa Fe and convenes at the Museum of International Folk Art for a dessert extravaganza beginning at 7:30 p.m. Desserts will be prepared by exclusively selected Santa Fe restaurants, who will compete for Santa Fe’s Best Dessert.
