Expanish Spanish School, Buenos Aires Argentina offers a special course for tourists in Buenos Aires, called "the Ultimate Spanish Crash Course." This course is designed for travellers who want to Learn Spanish in Buenos Aires, Argentina and do not have a lot of time to study in a regular course.

The class covers a wide range of topics, including necessary phrases and vocabulary for eating in a restaurant, going shopping, asking for information on the street, resolving a problem at the bank, and making friends with the locals. The crash course is always in the afternoon, and each day covers a specific topic, so everyone can pick and choose the topics that interest them most.

“If someone just arrived in the city and doesn’t speak a word in Spanish, this is the most efficient and fun way to learn the basics in Spanish and meet other people. Furthermore you get the opportunity to communicate with local people and get to know a bit about Argentina,” explaines Agustin Vignale, Commercial director at Expanish, which received more than six thousand students in the last six years. The Ultimate Spanish Crash Course is composed of five different daily modules:

Eat, Drink and Practice your Spanish
Shop till you Drop and do it in Spanish
On the move, travel in Spanish
Everyday Fundamentals, Ask for it in Spanish
Making Friends and Socializing in Spanish

The classes are scheduled from 4pm to 6pm, Monday through Friday for a reasonable price: US$25 or ARS100. Since the crash course has been created especially for travellers who have only a short time in Buenos Aires, all the modules are independent, so students can choose to take only one or all five.

Cultural Classes

In 2012 Expanish began offering Cultural Classes. Students who want to get to know a bit more about the local culture can add a session of Cultural Classes onto their regular group or individual courses. The group classes would take place in the morning, with the Cultural Classes in the afternoons right afterwards.

The Cultural Classes provide the students with a deeper insight into Latin American culture and with more opportunities to practice Spanish in a different context. The Cultural Classes will cover a variety of different topics, for example the legends of Buenos Aires, the story behind the tango, the Football culture of Argentina, traditional food, politics, immigration topics, local literature etc.
