With nine eBookstores and distributors, BookBaby offers the widest eBook distribution to independent authors plus 100% of royalties.

eBook publisher BookBaby today announces the addition of eBook stores Baker & Taylor, Gardners and eBookPie to its growing distribution network. Now, independent authors who publish eBooks with BookBaby get distribution through a total of nine online retailers including Amazon, Apple, Kobo, and Barnes & Noble.

When authors publish books through BookBaby their work will be available for all the major eReader devices (Kindle, iPad, Nook, Sony Reader, etc.), on social reading platforms like Kobo and Copia, and now, with the addition of Gardners, Baker & Taylor, and eBookPie — in libraries and in media catalogs used by bookstores and 3rd party booksellers across the world.
“Authors have told us they want to make their books available to the most readers possible, and that’s what BookBaby is helping them do,” said Brian Felsen, President of Book Baby. “With the addition of these new stores, BookBaby now offers the largest eBook distribution and access for independent authors while also offering the convenience of one centralized account to manage their whole literary effort.”

BookBaby provides an easy way for authors to connect to readers by acting as a one-stop publisher, offering eBook conversion and distribution for just $99. Here’s how it works:
For just $99 BookBaby offers

  •     Conversion of your manuscript to eReader-friendly formats (including Kindle, Nook, iPad, Sony Reader, and more)
  •     Distribution to our nine retailers -- Amazon, Apple iBookstore, Barnes & Noble, Sony Reader Store, Kobo, Copia, Baker & Taylor, Gardners and eBookPie.
  •     Accounting and Marketing information via the Author’s Dashboard, which gives you incredibly robust sales and payment metrics for all your retailers in one place
  •     100% of author royalties are passed through to authors. BookBaby takes 0% commission on all sales made through its entire eBook retail network.

“At BookBaby, 100 percent means 100 percent – authors get paid all their net sales – and weekly,” says Felsen. “Other eBook companies are touting they offer the highest royalty returns to authors, but that’s only on sales within their own online stores or other limited platforms mentioned in the fine print.”
