LeadsCouncil, the leading independent industry organization focused on online lead generation, today announced the winners of their second annual LEADER Awards – an awards program designed to showcase the leading companies in online lead generation Industry.

“With hundreds, if not thousands, of companies in the lead generation ecosystem it can be extremely difficult determining which companies are the best to partner with. The goal of the LeadsCouncil and the LEADER™ Awards is to recognize those companies that meet or exceed the expectations of their clients and their fellow industry peers,” said Michael Ferree, Director of the LeadsCouncil. “The LEADER™ Awards consists of three different survey categories – Lending, Education and Technology Partners – and is conducted over a several month period.”

The award recipients are released in their entirety to LeadsCouncil members. Only a select few are released to the general public. Those released to the public are as follows:

To establish an online lead generation awards program that reflected the opinions of the industry, LeadsCouncil based the LEADER awards on votes by lead buyers and lead sellers within the industry. Lead buyers were able to vote for their best lead generation and lead technology partners. Lead sellers were allowed to vote for their best lead technology partners.

LeadsCouncil was created to promote best practices for online lead generation and customer acquisition, develop industry-specific research (based on actual lead data), and foster education and networking in the lead generation industry.

Since it’s formation in 2010, LeadsCouncil now has approximately 125 member companies – evenly divided between lead buyers, lead sellers, and lead technology companies.
