New Online Video Business Magazine Boosts Region's Economy

The Altek Media Group has just announced the launch of three new online video magazines to support their already successful Southern California CEO online magazine (—which highlights successful regional businesses, events and organizations throughout the Inland Southern California area. These new magazines set to launch in mid February of this year include,, and A primary goal of these nationally-distributed magazines is to bring widespread attention to the progress, influence, and potential of the Inland Southern California region and its counties, cities and businesses.

Altek Media Group's President and CEO, Dwight Cromie, stated: "By working with local government and business leaders, we have taken a holistic approach to rebuilding this region's economy. We are a model for economic and business development, not just for the state, but the nation as well.”
The Altek Media Group's already successful magazine features video stories highlighting Southern California-based businesses and their CEOs, local events, governmental agencies, and economic and educational news. Cromie claims: “The goal of Southern California CEO magazine is to actively stimulate and grow our region’s economy by telling our story in a much more effective manner than is currently being done.” He went on to say, "Any marketing expert will tell you that word of mouth is absolutely the best form of marketing. What better way to promote our region than to have branding messages of economic success and prosperity delivered directly from the men and women whose organizations call the Inland Southern California region home?”
The video stories or episodes are distributed to over 250,000 online news feed subscribers and over 30,000 online journalists, along with all major search engines. They are also sent to an already growing subscriber list of over 5,000 regional business leaders in the magazine’s newsletter. According to Marketing Director, Patrick McCoy, “The average video story increases the web footprint of the business or organization by several thousand online listings. In fact, the County of Riverside has already seen an increase of nearly 20,000 additional online search results.”

The Altek Media Group's magazine focuses on medical professionals and their patients by highlighting doctors, hospitals, organizations, and medical information. magazine covers nonprofit organizations throughout the region. Since one of the biggest problems facing nonprofits today is funding, offers a forum through which local nonprofits and their sponsors can spread their message with a goal of increasing much needed philanthropic dollars to their organization and the region. The last of Altek’s newest online magazines is SoCal Water and Power (, a video magazine centered on sharing developments and news within the region’s water and power industry. SoCal Water and Power provides a resource through which businesses and local governments can observe what is happening by watching video stories on conferences, summits, workshops, and business projects.
