According to the Director of Fedderate R Investments the author of "The Hidden Prince" Billy Rennie has revealed documented proof that prior to his marriage and knowledge of the hidden Scottish Royalty he had a brush with the law that still haunts him to this day.

He was detained on suspicion of attempted assassination of Queen Elizabeth II. In the spring of 1966 he boarded a passenger liner called the Empress of Canada in Greenock Scotland to go on a wonderful adventure over to Canada. Having relations that had emigrated years before hand it was to be a chance of a lifetime to see new sites, train horses, and ride Rodeo. The mighty ship stopped at Quebec and when the customs boarded Billy amongst others were escorted off the vessel, taken by a small tender craft to shore where they sailed through big steel gates that closed behind them, to a detention centre at Quebec Federal Penitentiary. Billy says, "This was the scariest time of my life. There were armed guards everywhere, and we were fed on 3 square meals a day and I was given chicken between two slices of bread, green peas and gravy."

He was made aware of the reasons of detention and was held for four days while the validity of his travel, credentials, and family on either side of the Atlantic had been contacted and verified. On release he was given a train ticket to Montreal and sent on his way without further delay and was cleared of any suspicion. This was a 19 year old boy travelling alone, in a strange new place. A right royal start to his journeys for sure. Little did he know that latter on in life he would be the bearer of a secret far bigger than he could hold until death so Billy decided to let the next chapter be told in his new book, exposing the truth of Queen Victoria and John Brown’s secret love child and marriage. “Some people may not like or acknowledge the truth in this book of interest but I have written it with taste and respect although bottom line it is what it is,” says Billy.
