There's no other product on the market like the Magnum Coulter Disk.
Louisville, KY (PRWEB) February 17, 2012
Gates Manufacturing, Lansford, N.D., has received Farm Industry News’ 2012 FinOvation award for tillage equipment. Andy Gates, vice president, and Eric Moberg, Coulter Disk inventor, accepted the award at the National Farm Equipment Show in Louisville, Ky.
Gates Manufacturing won the FinOvation award for its Magnum Coulter Disk, an agricultural tillage tool with a combination of several unique features. Its center-pivot disk gangs are hydraulically adjustable, giving operators maximum control over their tillage performance.
In addition to the gang adjustability, pairs of blades pivot on their own torsion arm, along with each blade turning on it’s own hub. “There’s no other product on the market like our Magnum Coulter Disk,” said Gates. “It’s an honor to be recognized on a national level for our innovation.”
The recipients of the 2012 FinOvation awards were determined by reader interest of Farm Industry News. The winning products were selected from the hundreds of new agricultural products that appeared in Farm Industry News magazine, or on farmindustrynews.com, during 2011. FinOvation winners in other equipment categories included John Deere, Case IH, New Holland and AGCO.
