Drew Streett, The Key to the Sea, has been with Garden City Realty in Garden City Beach, SC since 2002. He is the chair of the Garden City Beach Community Association and served as the 2009 president of the Coastal Carolina Association of REALTORS. He holds the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation, is the 2010 Coastal Carolina Association of REALTORS Realtor of the Year, the 2010 GCR Listing Agent of the Year and the 2009 GCR Selling Agent of the Year.
Drew Streett is a third generation REALTOR and a graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. He is a member of Belin United Methodist Church in Murrells Inlet. He is a former president of the Murrells Inlet Rotary Club, the 2006 recipient of the Guy Kates Rotarian of the Year award and the Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow recognition. Bobby Streett, Your Coastal Carolina Connection, has been a broker with Garden City Realty since 2004. He has been selling real estate for more than 38 years; is a Recreation and Resort Specialist (RRS), a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) and a certified insurance counselor. He has completed the coursework for the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designations. Streett frequently receives the Listing and Selling Agent award and is the 2007 and 2010 Selling Agent of the Year. Streett says, he takes pleasure in assisting clients find the home, condominium or investment property of their dreams.
Bobby Streett graduated from the University of South Carolina Honors College in 1973 with additional studies at the University of London, England. He was first licensed by the South Carolina Real Estate Commission in 1975. Streett served as broker-in-charge and property manager-in-charge for various firms between 1975 and 2004 and was active in the insurance, construction and development industries. In 2004 he joined his son, Drew, at GCR on the South Carolina coast. Streett has held numerous positions with the South Carolina Association of REALTORS as well as local and regional real estate associations. He has been involved with several community organizations including the chamber of commerce. Streett served as president and chairman of the board for the Mid-Day Sertoma Club, is a former director of the Jaycees and member of the Murrells Inlet Rotary Club. He has also been an American Red Cross water safety instructor and coached youth baseball. In 2001 Streett received the REALTOR of the Year Award and is the GCR 2010 Top Outgoing Referral agent, which he was recognized for by our affiliate, Leading Real Estate Companies of the World. Clay has been with Garden City Realty since 2001. He is an active member of the National Association of REALTORS, the South Carolina Association of REALTORS and the Coastal Carolina Association of REALTORS where he recently completed a three-year term on the Board of Directors. He has earned the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and the Real Estate Owned Specialist (REOS) designations, and recently received the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation.
Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Clay became acquainted with the Grand Strand while stationed in Myrtle Beach for four years serving in the U.S. Air Force. He became active in real estate in 1998 and was the firm’s 1999 Top Salesman and 2000 Top Residential Sales agent.
When not at the office, Clay’s hobbies include outdoor activities such as fly rod fishing. He is a member of The Father’s House in Myrtle Beach, where he learned through a fellow church member about the great work taking place at Agua Viva (Living Water) Children’s Home in Chimaltenango, Guatemala. Schmaus has been with Garden City Realty since February 2009. She has been a full-time broker in the Myrtle Beach area for more than 25 years and is a graduate of the Real Estate Institute where she received the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation.
Born in northern Virginia and raised in Miami Beach, Florida, Schmaus’ love of sun, sand and golf has her rooted on the South Strand. She enjoys introducing families to the various coastal communities and the amenities each one offers. Whether it’s boating, swimming, fishing, golfing or simply relaxing in a hammock, Schmaus says, she appreciates the relationships she has developed assisting folks in their home search. When not at the office, she relishes spending time with her children and grandson who, “lights up her world every day.” She has volunteered for the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association and is a charter parishioner of Good Shepherd Orthodox Anglican Church in Myrtle Beach. Schmaus says, throughout the years she has enjoyed handling the real estate needs of her clients, which has resulted in a large circle of good friends.
