One of the teams training in advanced in Santa Rosa is the BISSELL Pro Cycling Team. The team has been centered in Santa Rosa since the team was established in 2008. They have based every season's training camps in the area and have been at Hotel La Rose since 2009. The team manager, Glen Mitchell, is a resident of Santa Rosa and numerous riders have called Santa Rosa home over the years. Currently two of the riders from New Zealand, Jeremy Vennell and Patrick Bevin, have Santa Rosa as their home in the USA. It is no mystery why the team chooses Santa Rosa... the amazing beauty and perfect terrain for training and racing.

The team also had the highest placed domestic finisher at the 2011USA Pro Cycling Challenge, Chris Baldwin. Additionally, BISSELL rider Ben Jacques-Maynes has raced every addition of the Tour of California.
