Partnership Supports MEDSEEK’s Canadian Business and Expands OnX’s North American Healthcare Practice

MEDSEEK, the provider of the healthcare industry’s only enterprise strategic patient engagement and management solutions, has announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with OnX, a leading North American enterprise data center IT solutions provider. OnX will leverage MEDSEEK’s strategic patient management solutions and OnX’s Federated Cloud Framework to help healthcare organizations optimize their IT investments.

As part of the agreement OnX will provide local support for MEDSEEK’s Canadian customers. With 13 offices in Canada, OnX is ideally positioned to support the more than 5,000 physicians who rely on MEDSEEK’s clinical software that provides them a safe, secure and complete view of health records for more than 5.5 million Canadian patients at the point of service.

According to International Data Corporation (IDC), Canadian healthcare information technology spending was understood to be more than $40 billion in 2011. MEDSEEK estimates that Canada’s 700+ hospitals represent a $200 million market opportunity for its clinical solution, which is at the core of the highly successful ClinicalConnect project in Ontario.

The deal allows OnX to distribute all of MEDSEEK’s enterprise strategic patient engagement solutions, including clinical, consumer, employee and patient technology, to provide a 360-degree digital health experience. By reselling these solutions and supporting referral business, MEDSEEK and OnX will expand MEDSEEK solutions throughout Canada and enable OnX to continue to expand its healthcare practice.
