Parallel 6, Inc. Announced the Release of a Mobile Platform to Facilitate Purchases and Social Sharing on Smartphones.

Parallel 6, Inc., a leading social media and mobile technology company, announced today the launch of a new mobile application that will offer local deals to Deal Mob customers in Georgia and South Carolina.

Deal Mobs’ mobile application was created using Parallel 6’s custom branded Captive Reach platform. Geo-fencing and segmentation algorithms within the platform allow Deal Mobs to ensure the relevancy of an offer by targeting consumers based on specific demographics.

“Our platform allows Deal Mobs to target consumers based on their age, gender and location,” said David Turner, CEO of Parallel 6. “Once consumers receive a daily or weekly deal they are able to locate, receive, purchase and share the deal of interest through social networks including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.”

The Captive Reach mobile application extends beyond social sharing to provide a “mobile wallet” for its users. Users can enter credit card information to purchase deals within the mobile app. Once purchased, the user is provided a redeemable code that is then shown to the retailer at the point of purchase.

The Promotions Management Panel, which is integrated into Deal Mob’s mobile app, serves as a central hub for content, promotions, offers and incentives, as well as consumer insight and analytics.

“The insights we provide help Deal Mobs identify with their target market, creating strong relationships and ultimately expanding their reach nationwide,” said Turner.
