MediaMind, the leading independent provider of integrated digital advertising solutions, and ScientiaMobile, Inc., a US company offering the popular open-source WURFL framework for Mobile Device Detection commercially, announced today an agreement between the two organizations.
According to the agreement, MediaMind will become a commercial user of ScientiaMobile products and services, and will utilize the WURFL APIs and Device Description Repository to provide mobile-specific reporting and analytics solutions to its customers.

WURFL has been and still is the de-facto standard Device Description Repository (DDR) adopted by mobile developers.
