The topic of the next DesignRealized continuing education program is How to Analyze a Project for Performance Goals. This course will be web cast from AIA San Francisco on Thursday, March 16, at 12pm Pacific/3pm Eastern, to groups and individuals around the U.S. A case study of the Harim Office Building, participants will explore how sustainable design was central to the building as well as the brand image of the company.
Betsy del Monte, FAIA, LEED BD+C, Principal, The Beck Group, will cover how technology was used to analyze the design of the Harim Office Building in order to determine its performance in relation to sustainable design. She will also discuss how to integrate a 3D model with energy analysis tools such as Ecotect and Vasari.
