Receiving this award from an accredited certifier has enabled The Tyndall National Institute to position itself as one of the most energy efficient research centers in the world.

Europe's leading ICT research and development center, The Tyndall National Institute, incorporates both commercial and academic research activities at their facilities in Cork City, Ireland. The centre is currently occupied by over 450 researchers, students and staff members and has over 200 industry partnerships and customers worldwide. Certification Europe is currently one of the only officially accredited ISO 50001 certification bodies in Europe.
