Gestational surrogacy and egg donation, both advanced reproductive technologies that allow same sex couples to build their families, are extremely restricted in many European countries. Dr. Gad Lavy, who is internationally recognized for his work in gestational surrogacy and egg donation will be attending a series of three conferences in London, Ireland and Barcelona that will provide information and complimentary consults for those couples and individuals who need to pursue international surrogacy and/ or egg donation and in vitro fertilization in order to build their families.
The first seminar and series of consults will take place in March in London. Following the conference in London, Dr. Lavy will be speaking and meeting with prospective patients in Ireland. The final conference and consultations will be at the Network of European LGBT Family Associations(NELFA) from April 28-30th in Barcelona. A full day seminar titled "Men Having Babies" will be offered on April 29th, where Dr. Lavy will be hosting a speaker's panel and complimentary consultations. This is a unique opportunity for the public learn about the medical, ethical and legal processes of gestational surrogacy and egg donation.
