The windy city is excited for the opening of Ivy Boutique Hotel, a sophisticated, luxurious hotel, slated for April 2012. Currently undergoing multi-million dollar renovations, the 15,000 square foot, 15 story building is located in the center of downtown, soon to transform into the city’s newest, high-end, lavish hotel, setting the standard in luxury and service. The Ivy Boutique Hotel - http://www.exploreivy.com - will offer the intimacy of a private residence combined with the highly personalized services of an extraordinary boutique luxury hotel.
Interior design for the Ivy is coordinated by Arthur Minor who has designed venues such as the Palms Hotel Las Vegas, Morton’s, Nine Steak House and La Cave at the Wynn Hotel. Sleek and sophisticated with a touch of opulence, patrons entering the lobby will be surrounded by a blend of high end marble, mosaics, granite and glass tastefully chosen to offer the most comforting and desirable environment. Even the elevators have been outfitted to provide local information and forecasts via panel integrated 19” led television sets.
James Cazares, owner of the Ivy explains how the new hotel will offer discerning guests an intimate retreat defined by signature elements. “We’re unique in that we provide cutting edge and versatile accommodations to ensure optimal comfort. Our suites feature California King sized beds for our oversized athlete clients. Plus, we only have 5 rooms per floor, allowing us to reserve an entire floor for special groups.”
Even acoustics are memorable as every room features surround and theatre sound to enhance 10 foot ceilings. Bathrooms include body spray and rain showers, soaking tubs and double vanities. With Bamboo flooring, sisal rugs, and Michigan goose-down comforters, the Ivy positively defines luxury and comfort.
“We want our guests to know that we are forward thinking” said Cazares. “Fair trade organic cotton bedding and towels, natural toiletries, and green cleaning products help us keep the environment in mind when servicing the rooms”. With a “green policy” firmly in place, the Ivy is not only luxurious, but responsible.
With 63 luxurious units, an upscale restaurant /lounge, two banquet rooms, state of the art work out facility and a rooftop terrace with an unobstructed view of the city skyline, elegance, sophistication and comfort are redefined.
