A loved one may easily enter their family member’s information, attach a photograph and for a low annual fee protect that family member from getting lost or wandering away from home.
Scituate, MA (PRWEB) February 22, 2012
Hunter Systems Group, Inc. today announced the launch of the Hunter TrueID Facial Recognition and Enrollment program. Hunter TrueID permits the family or friends of children and senior citizens to enroll their loved one in the program so that law enforcement may return them safely to their home should they ever go missing. The secure and privacy-ensured program takes a loved one’s vital information such as home address, doctors and medications – as well as his or her photograph – and enters it into a secure database accessible only to law enforcement personnel. If a loved one goes missing or wanders away from home, and is recovered in a different locality, the public safety officer may take a photograph of the individual and compare it against the enrollment database using facial recognition. In seconds, the enrolled individual’s vital information is transmitted to the officer so that person may be safely returned.
“We have taken our Hunter TrueID law enforcement-grade facial recognition system and applied it to those who may need it most,” says Hunter Systems Group, Inc.’s President, Mark Thompson. “A loved one may easily enter their family member’s information, attach a photograph and for a low annual fee protect that family member from getting lost or wandering away from home. Public safety officers no longer have to dig through their voluminous paper files to identify a member of their community, who may desperately need a doctor’s attention or other vital medication. The information is just a click away.”
Licenses to search the Hunter TrueID LE Wanderers will be provided at no cost to local police departments so that the applicable public safety officer, who in these times is typically juggling numerous other tasks, may quickly and easily identify and return lost individuals. “Hunter TrueID LE Wanderers is a low cost way to ensure that recovered individuals are brought home safely,” says Thompson. “There is no need for uncomfortable bracelets and there is no reliance on radio frequencies that in many instances are unreliable or too weak to make a proper identification. Simply put, it provides valuable peace of mind – something that is hard to come by when you are caring for a vulnerable individual.”
