The first campaign with Guerlain, designed to engage users and incite conversation amongst fans was deployed on the Guerlain fan page, resulting in roughly 40,000 new fans (130,000 before the campaign and 176,000 now). Avenuesocial worked with Guerlain to create a discussion forum where Guerlain fan page fans can discuss everything from their favorite makeup colors to their favorite skin case products with the added functionality of recommending specific products to their friends and family. In addition, Avenuesocial implemented a virtual gifting feature that lets friends send each other virtual kisses in different shades of Rogue Automatique.
The other social campaign was conducted with Olay where Avenuesocial helped with Olay's Facebook page launch customized to induce the feelings of exclusivity. Non-fans were encouraged to like the page where they could enter sweepstakes for a chance to win two tickets to the 54th. Annual Grammy Awards plus a three night all-expenses-paid stay in Los Angeles. Other features included browsing product offerings, polls and more.
The last two campaigns were with SGAC and the White House. The State Government of Affairs Council reached out to Avenuesocial to enhance their mobile presence as well as optimization of their existing site and was satisfied with the results. For the White House Avenuesocial designed and developed a flash-based mini game for Facebook that lets users interact with politicians from the past in a fun and easy-going animated experience that users can share with their friends. The game was a success with over 50% of users playing the game more than once and 20% of them recommending the app to their friends on Facebook.
