Leukemia takes more lives of children in the Unites States than any other cancer. The money raised through the “Like” campaign, has gone to directly help fund a portfolio of over 11 pediatric cancer research grants, with 100% of the donations benefiting LLS research.

“Thanks to the involvement and support of our online community, we received 11,214 new 'Likes.' They are responsible for our donation of over $11,000, which benefits The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS),” said Noah Anderson, CEO. “Because we were so inspired by the tremendous community response we received, we donated an additional $9,000 on behalf of our members for a total of $20,000 to this important organization."

In addition to the donation, PlanningFamily is committed to raising awareness and engaging families nationwide to build a better world, a better country and better communities. Their guiding focus is to create everyday philanthropists and educate them that giving money is not the only way to show love, benevolence and good will.

"LLS is extremely grateful to PlanningFamily.com and their strong online community for their support and overall commitment to growing good,” said Piper Medcalf, Executive Director. “Without the continuous support of companies like PlanningFamily, who are willing to share their time and resources to grow good, we would not be able to continue our research to develop cures for childhood cancer.”
