The grant helps the organization promote online financial literacy education for California K–12 teachers and students.

California Council on Economic Education was awarded a Google Grant for free Google Adwords advertising, as announced today by William Coffin, CCEE Chairman.

CCEE's ads are displayed alongside related search results on Google.com. When people click the ad, they are taken to CCEE's homepage (http://www.ccee.org). The Google Grant award helps CCEE spread its message of training teachers with economic and financial literacy programs and workshops. Teachers in turn reach students across the state with new tools and resources to help them make better decisions, develop their human capital and gain confidence for life.

“We are honored to be awarded this grant from Google, the world’s leading search organization,” said Coffin. “At a time when economic and financial literacy is most needed, Google’s support will help advance teacher training and student best practices curriculum.”
