The past 12 months have been some of the most successful in the University’s history, ranking top in the north-west and fourth out of English public universities for graduate employability, second in England for students’ personal development in the 2011 National Student Survey and being shortlisted for the prestigious Times Higher Ed UK University of the Year.
University leaders at Edge Hill acknowledged the changes that were on the horizon several years ago and began their journey to adapt the university to these new realities to ensure Edge Hill would thrive during these periods of structural change in higher education. As part of its strategy, Edge Hill recognised the value of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) which would help them to enhance the student experience – starting with being able to recruit more of the right students. The increase in applications is in part the result of a significant increase in enquiries to Edge Hill.
