Firehouse Grill & Brewery, located in downtown Sunnyvale on historic Murphy Avenue, is going a little green for St. Patrick’s Day this year. Although they have had various events in past years for St. Patrick’s Day, they are really outdoing themselves this year!

The celebration will be all weekend and feature four different live bands Thursday, Friday and Saturday. There will also be drink specials and traditional Irish food with a Firehouse twist served all weekend, don’t miss out!

They will kick-off the weekend celebration on Thursday with the California Celts and there will be no cover for this event! The California Celts are a unique band from Yucca Valley, California whose music draws from various types of Celtic music and also has influences of Ska, Reggae, Bluegrass and Rock. The party will continue Friday with live music from The Silver Threads. Finally Saturday Greg Cross Band will be opening for the featured band, The Whiskey Avengers. Make sure to get there before 8:00 PM to avoid paying a cover.

Drink specials on Irish-style drinks will be in effect all weekend to keep things festive! Guinness $ 4.00, Jameson $ 5.00, Irish Car Bombs $ 7.00 and the featured band’s Drink Whiskey Avengers $5.00 “Ginger Beer and Jameson.” Also their kitchen will be cooking many Irish favorites such as: Corn Beef and Pickled Green Cabbage Sandwich and Drunken Sheppard’s pie; the beef will be soaked in their award-winning Porter, Irish Fool Stew and for desert, Lucky Charm Bread Pudding.
