Today, Chicago integrated marketing firm OneIMS and Google affiliate HandsOn Suburban Chicago held an online training seminar for prominent attendees from the non-profit sector at United Way’s downtown Chicago office. Non-profit representatives learned how to enhance their organizations’ online presence through search engine optimization, social media platforms, advertising, and other online marketing tools.
OneIMS and HandsOn Technology share a goal of helping non-profit organizations help more people and raise more funds by expanding their online presence. The three-hour seminar covered a number of relevant topics, including a lesson on how to utilize online marketing strategies to maximum effect. In addition to providing generalized lessons, OneIMS staff offered pro-bono one-on-one consultations with nonprofit representatives to existing online efforts and formulate an improved, multifaced marketing plan.
“Because every non-profit organization is unique, we felt that providing a personalized evaluation would be more beneficial that just providing general online marketing advice. Our staff helped to pinpoint any areas of difficulty and come up with long-term solutions to grow their online presence. All attendees received an extensive printout of our evaluation and advice,” says Miller.
Given the turnout and success of this seminar, OneIMS plans to host similar events in the future.
