Proximus Mobility, a location based proximity marketing software company, recently completed a hyperlocal proximity marketing campaign with a leading Las Vegas Hotel & Resort. Although the property had spent several decades trying to differentiate itself from its Vegas strip competitors, this full-service resort with over 5,000 rooms now sought to gain a larger share of the customer’s wallet in its onsite restaurants, lounges and hotel attractions as well as to deepen its customer loyalty.

The three-month proximity marketing campaign featured promotional offers, coupons and data capture forms to grow the hotel loyalty program. Coupons included exclusive drink and menu specials to hotel and lobby restaurants as well as discounts for hotel attraction admission tickets. The Hotel & Resort placed five Proximus Mobility access points throughout the property, allowing them to target customers walking by via Bluetooth and provide a rich Wi-Fi experience to guests in the casino.

The proximity based mobile marketing campaign concluded with a six percent response rate, outperforming mobile industry standard click through rates of one percent. Hotel & Resort restaurants, lounges and attractions also saw an increase in sales throughout the promotional window.
