Promise Energy is providing multifamily building owners a simple, affordable path to solar water heating.

Promise Energy, an affiliate of Adam Capital - a leading clean energy finance company - has announced a major US distribution agreement with Baymak, a division of BDR Thermea - a global leader in solar heating and storage equipment.

Promise Energy provides full-service design, engineering, installation and financing for solar hot water systems for multifamily affordable housing, apartment buildings, hospitals, hotels and other commercial buildings. Baymak has been a leading European manufacturer of equipment for heating and domestic hot water since 1967.

The agreement allows Promise Energy to offer Baymak’s 265-gallon tanks to their commercial customers in the US, while expanding Baymak’s international distribution of its leading enameled steel solar hot water tanks. The tanks will be offered as part of a complete package including Promise Energy’s no-money-down financing for qualified buildings.

“We’re proud to partner with Baymak, one of Europe’s leading solar thermal equipment manufacturers, to offer Promise Energy customers top-quality solar water heating systems,” said Michael Boucher, who leads business development for Promise Energy. “One of the key advantages of solar hot water is the ability to store solar energy overnight. These well-designed, durable tanks form an integral part of the complete solar hot water solution we offer our commercial customers.”

“This partnership with Promise Energy allows us to expand our presence in the rapidly growing market for commercial solar hot water systems in the US,” said Tacnur Yilmaz, export deputy manager for Baymak-BDR Thermea Group. “We see enormous growth potential in Promise Energy’s full-service approach to this market - including design, installation and financing – and we look forward to expanding our partnership in the near future.”

“We’ve chosen high-quality solar thermal equipment for Promise Energy’s financing package, because the company will be owning and operating these systems for 20 years or more,” said Adam Boucher, CEO of Adam Capital. “By combining industry-leading equipment and engineering with Adam Capital’s financing expertise, Promise Energy is providing building owners a simple, affordable path to clean, renewable solar water heating.”
