HospitaltyGreen is pleased to announce that it will be working with Sullivan County Community College as a sustainable operations consultant. Sustainability is already at the core of SUNY Sullivan, with a state-of-the art green facility and an extensive sustainable education curriculum.
“We decided to hire HospitalityGreen to supplement the college's ongoing efforts in campus sustainability,” said Helena le Roux Ohm, SUNY Sullivan’s Director of Sustainability Projects & Initiatives. “HospitalityGreen's experience and tools related to waste reduction, waste diversion, and policy development will be a tremendous asset for the college. SUNY Sullivan hopes to establish itself as a regional and national leader in campus sustainability, and HospitalityGreen will be an important partner for us in this process.”
HospitalityGreen will be working with the college throughout the year on purchasing sustainable products and waste management/recycling for everything from dining services and culinary, computer/electronics purchasing, cleaning products and office and tissue paper purchasing. HG will also develop recommendations for improvements for waste and recycling for the cafeteria, dorms, and all academic and administrative departments.
Evadne Giannini, Principal and Founder of HospitalityGreen says, “We are so pleased to be working with SUNY Sullivan in this capacity.
