Haddonfield, NJ (PRWEB) February 25, 2012
As the economic uncertainty continues to challenge the business community, Simkovitz & Associates, LLC was able to write multiple life insurance polices for collateral assignment to help secure a business acquisition loan for Scelsi & Associates, LLC. Total life insurance required by the lender was more than $2.5 million.
Managing General Agent, Harris Simkovitz, CES, who worked on the case, said the process began in October of 2011, when Salvatore Scelsi, Jr, partner at Scelsi & Associates, LLC, approached him and asked for his help in obtaining the policies. “The acquisition would have not gone through without the diligent work facilitated by Harris,” remarked Scelsi. “From day one, Harris completely understood our needs and worked within a very constrained time frame to make this deal happen. My partner and I were 100 percent convinced that no other insurance professional could have gotten this done as quickly and efficiently. In addition to Harris being extremely competent, he took a personal interest in our case and was able to come through for us in a very demanding timeframe.”
“Every insurance case has its challenges whether it’s a simple term or disability policy. The Scelsi case presented a short time frame with multiple policies and carriers. Road blocks are why I am in this business, Simkovitz explained, and without a challenge, my usefulness in the insurance business diminishes. It’s taken me the better part of my almost 19 years in the business to come up with a system in gathering information from the client, which I personally developed, to streamline the process. I also utilize direct relationships with carriers and sometimes turn to the brokerage community, such as in this case, for help when needed.” Scelsi and Associates, LLC was able to complete their acquisition just in time for the 2012 tax season.
Simkovitz & Associates, LLC, Marlton, NJ. is a Brokerage Insurance Agency specializing in the small business markets and medium to high net worth individuals in the sale of life insurance and long term disability products.
