Moy, MD, FAAD has joined US Dermatology, directing Mohs micrographic surgery and cosmetic surgery services in the company's newly-constructed office in Mililani, Hawaii.
Nationally renowned for his work and currently concluding service as the president of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Ron Moy brings to US Dermatology a stellar reputation and wealth of experience that includes performing over 30,000 cases of facial plastic surgery and Mohs micrographic surgery.
Dr. Moy earned his bachelor's degree and medical degree from a combined program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY and Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. He then completed his residency in dermatology at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center, with fellowship training in Dermatologic Surgery and Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Center for Health Sciences, Montefiore Hospital.
In addition to his AAD presidency, Dr. Moy has served in a number of prestigious leadership positions, including former president of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Pacific Dermatologic Association, and the Los Angeles Metropolitan Dermatologic Society. He has also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Dermatologic Surgery Journal, and maintains a professorship at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
