It is a revelation of the subtle and flagrant reverse discrimination in government—and his adventures and experiences.

Inspired by the staggering intellectual and elitist movement in the country that feeds the need to go overboard in accommodating one portion of the population due to past injustices, author James Edward Harris, Jr. releases Flight of a White Dinosaur. As he journeys through life, he witnessed the way people pander to and pamper staff and wards in the juvenile justice system, as well as the lack of vigilance by the government, especially the Air Force, prior to September 11, 2001. In his stories he reveals the subtle and flagrant reverse discrimination in government, while relating his adventures and experiences.

Flight of a White Dinosaur is divided into several chapters and begins with a family celebration flight upon completing active duty, followed by a return to civilian life and marriage. Then the writer is plunged into a world of wrongly directed affirmative action and pandering to institutionalized young criminals. At the same time, he is a Category A Reservist and must fight a bureaucracy of failed imagination and scant vigilance resulting in September 11, 2001. The author’s rearing by practical and tough outdoor mentors prepares him for the topsy-turvy and out-of-kilter society that seems to be in a free fall. He does, however, see some hope with the right leadership and citizen involvement.

Skillfully written, filled with information, and very interesting, Flight of a White Dinosaur is a riveting memoir readers will surely find amusing and meaningful.
