AnesthesiaPrep, LLC has just released a new web-based platform for anesthesiology residents to use to prepare for the ABA board exam. The interactive platform simulates the computer-based testing experience, providing residents with the most realistic preparation experience possible.

Today AnesthesiaPrep, LLC announced the release of an innovative online q-bank designed to better prepare Anesthesiology residents for their specialty written boards, an examination required of all Anesthesiologists who seek board certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). AnesthesiaPrep has taken a unique approach to test preparation by offering an interactive experience for users that focuses on simulation of the computer-based testing experience.

AnesthesiaPrep is the first of its kind in the Anesthesia community, with accessibility on both web-based and mobile platforms for all iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. The company offers a simulation of realistic board-style questions in a live and interactive format. AnesthesiaPrep was developed in a combined effort by Anesthesiologists from both the West Penn Allegheny Health System and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), two hospital systems located in Pittsburgh, PA.

The launch of AnesthesiaPrep.com is accompanied by the release of a new fully-integrated mobile application that brings on-demand test preparation to the hospital, giving physicians needed convenience and accessibility.

“Our efforts to combine the most accurate Anesthesia content with the versatility of full mobile accessibility give today’s residents a huge upper-hand in preparing for their specialty written boards,” states Ankur Gosalia, MD, Academic Director for the company. “We want physicians to use our testing platform to enhance their Anesthesia knowledge base and to assess their ability to correctly answer questions that challenge their grasp of important anesthesia concepts. AnesthesiaPrep is written to drive home the major principles taught in leading texts that drive evidence-based Anesthesia practice. The Anesthesia community can depend on our q-bank for relevant information that allows them to learn and retain knowledge more effectively than ever before.”
